How to Purchase your Ticket

Step 1

Pupils must complete the school transport application form 09/10 cycle and return it to the school of their choice so that it is signed by school principal.

There are three types of school transport application forms available for the 09/10 cycle:

N-Form : New pupil enrolling for the first time in a post-primary school

T-Form : Transfer Form, pupil changing residence or school

E-Form : Pupil already in the school but applying for transport for the first time

Step 2

The application is then submitted to Transport Liaison Office by the school and is processed and submitted to Bus Eireann. Pupils who are ineligible for transport will be received written notification from Transport Liaison Office.

Step 3

If a pupil is sanctioned for school transport they will receive an invoice for €300 in June 09 from Bus Eireann. Tickets can be paid for in 2 installments i.e. €150 to be paid before 31st July 09 and €150 to be paid before 4th Dec 09. One installment of €300 can be paid in July 09.

Cheques to be made payable to Bus Eireann and posted to:

  • Bus Eireann, School Transport Office, Capwell, Cork.

Bus Eireann now have an online facility for payment of school transport tickets on their website click here. Your family ID No and Pin No is required. If you do not know your ID No please contact Bus Eireann.
